Scott Pruski
Dedicated, willing to lead and not afraid of hard work, I am a Financial Advocate and a personal resource for clients. Basically, I serve as their financial project manager or a personal CFO.

My favorite clients are genuine, informed and motivated. Their time is scarce and valuable. They want expertise with experience, appreciate authenticity and are wise enough to know what they do not know. Confident and able to delegate, they want someone they like, trust and can count on – to get things done the right way.

I work independently, but not alone, as a central trusted adviser with over 25 years of personal-finance experience. I “did time” with multiple life insurance companies and a New York Stock Exchange brokerage firm, before starting an independent investment advisory firm in 2000. I have never been a banker, but I have wrangled a few and am friends with others.

Perspective gained through personal experience with cancer and divorce enhances the value of my objective view. Prior to gaining experience and empathy, I earned an Economics degree from the University of Michigan and two credentials, the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), which require more coursework and testing than the CFP®.

My supporting team of local experts includes a tax attorney, multiple CPA’s, other attorneys and various financial professionals.

Client assets and cash equivalents are held by Fidelity Investments, not Advosion. With Fidelity, I offer institutional strength, multiple professionals on my client-service and support team, plus veteran experts to handle complex situations or sophisticated technical issues. Clients enjoy personalized and specialized expertise.

Personally, nothing is more important to me than my two daughters. For fun, I enjoy cycling (mountain and road), downhill skiing, fly-fishing and coaching. Ultimately, I want to be remembered as someone who cared enough to make a difference.
